Rawlins City Council accepts resignation from DDA/Main Street Board

The letter of resignation is dated Nov. 1, 2023.

Smith’s letter states:

“I need to resign my board position with the DDA immediately. I appreciate the opportunity and have enjoyed my time on the board. I wish you the best of luck.”

Along with voting in favor of accepting the resignation, the council also voted to direct community relations to advertise the vacancy.

The next Rawlins City Council meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec 5, at 7:30 p.m.

The council meetings are held in the council chambers at Rawlins City Hall, located at 521 W. Cedar St.
