CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Republican Party will hold its 2024 State Convention in Cheyenne next Thursday through Saturday, April 18-20.
The theme for this year’s convention is “Heritage, Values, Results.”
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Republican Party will hold its 2024 State Convention in Cheyenne next Thursday through Saturday, April 18-20.
The theme for this year’s convention is “Heritage, Values, Results.”
Various committee meetings will be held at Little America Hotel and Resort on Thursday and Friday. A trade show with various vendors will begin Thursday morning and run through Friday night. The public is welcome to attend.
Thursday night, the Laramie County Republican Central Committee will hold a “Kickoff Reception” at Little America starting at 5:30 p.m., featuring live music by Brian Brooks and the Incorrigibles. Tickets are available at laramiecountygop.com. Hors d’oevres and drinks will be served.
Friday night, Senators Lummis and Barrasso and Rep. Hageman will be hosting a dinner at Little America. Tickets are free to the public while they last, but must be obtained before the event by emailing execdir@wyoming.gop. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door.
On Saturday, convention check-in starts at 7 a.m. The convention starts at 9 a.m. and is scheduled to adjourn at 4 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
Saturday night, Harmeet Dhillon will serve as keynote speaker for a banquet at the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center. Dhillon serves as the California Republican State Committeewoman, is a member of the RNC, and frequently appears on Fox News and Newsmax. Her law firm currently represents Donald J. Trump and has won numerous ballot cases.
After the banquet, a "Dessert and Meet and Greet with Harmeet" will be held at the Cheyenne Ice and Events Center. Tickets may be obtained on the Republican Party’s website at wyoming.gop for the dinner and meet and greet. A limited number of tickets may be available at the door.
Saturday afternoon, Dhillon will also hold a smaller, informal speaking engagement from 2-3 p.m. at Little America, in Wyoming Room A. The public is encouraged to attend. Tickets are available at the door for $20.
