Almost 200 Wyoming Women of Influence gathered at Little America today to hear from an array of inspiring speakers - from keynote speaker Dr. Noel Bakhitian’s tale of working in the White House and at the nexus of water and energy; to afternoon keynoter Selina Hoflund’s advice on getting out of your own way; to panels on maintaining a work/life balance; life transitions and redirecting or resurrecting your career.

The panels were sprinkled with past Women of Influence honorees in a variety of industries who shared their wisdom and perspective on working in Wyoming.

During breaks, attendees posed for complimentary headshots by Ardent Photography, got Selina Hoflund to sign her book (a free copy for every attendee was sponsored by an anonymous donor), and browsed exhibitor booths.

As inspiring as the day was, most were looking towards the finale: the Women of Influence Awards Banquet. The banquet will seat nearly 400 women, their friends and the men who cheer for them. A special early edition of the Daily will be published first thing Friday morning to share who the honorees for this year are.

The event was produced for the Wyoming Business Report by APG Signature Events. The title sponsor of the event was Merrill Inc., a woman-owned general contracting company. The Esther Hobart Morris Sponsors were Wyoming PBS and Holland & Hart. The Nellie Taylor Ross Sponsors were the John P. Ellbogen Foundation and Little America Hotel & Resort.
