Finding solutions to workforce development in Wyoming is like the paradoxical question, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” Does the state need a trained workforce to enhance economic development, or does the state need jobs to spur workforce training?

Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon, the state Department of Workforce Services, community colleges, the Wyoming Business Council, and other state and local economic development officials believe the answer to the question is “both.”
