Across the nation, Main Street America and members of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce are rallying around the retail community, after devastating effects on the industry from the coronavirus pandemic and related shutdowns.

“We have not yet beaten the coronavirus or achieved the economic recovery we all desire,” Thomas Donohue, CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America, said in a letter to President Donald Trump dated July 16. “Additional support is needed from the government to curtail the pandemic, and to support individuals, families and employers through this unprecedented downturn.”
