Both acquisitions resulted from private negotiations from a publicly traded oil and gas company and include acreage contiguous XXL property in the Greater Jade Area. Part of the acreage is in an area of mutual interest with XXL partners in the Green River Basin and will be offered to them under a previous agreement.
After offering the acreage to its partners, XXL will have acquired more than 7,000 new acres in the Green River Basin. XXL's acreage in the Greater Jade Area will increase from 10,000 net acres to 17,000 net acres, and its overall Green River properties will increase from 28,000 acres to 35,000 acres.
