WRI is a research technology development organization specializing in energy, environmental and transportation materials.
Sethi had been the vice president of WRI's Energy Production and Generation Business Unit since 1999 and has managed WRI's $50+ million Cooperative Agreement Program with the U.S. Department of Energy since 2001.
In making the announcement Collins said, "Dr. Sethi has contributed to WRI's growth and financial security by aggressively pursuing competitive R and D funding opportunities and assisting our University of Wyoming partners in development of the High Plains Gasification Advanced Technology Center."
Sethi earned his doctorate in metallurgy and materials science from Case Western Reserve University in 1976. Before joining WRI in 1991, Sethi worked at Battelle Columbus Laboratories, Argonne National Laboratory and the Kentucky Energy Cabinet Laboratory.
